Our Lady and Saint George's Catholic Primary School about 3 weeks ago

This week we have been celebrating St George's Day. Today we celebrated St George's day, the Patron Saint of England and our school. We celebrated by reading the story of St George and acting it out in our Edible Garden! We also went to a service in our parish and did lots of art in our class. We decorated a dragon to represent the dragon St.George slayed; we designed a shield; we coloured George the Knight and the England flag. We also prepared some props: the shield and the spear that George used to slay the dragon! It was a lovely day with lots of fun and learning about St George and the message his life left us.
